This picture of Holy Innocents School was taken some time in the
40's. It is looking down East 16th Street from Beverly Road. The
two entrances were gender specific, one for boys and one for

Here's a picture of my grandparents Thomas & Virginia Pappas' store in South Brooklyn. Being that they were from Greece, having an Italian deli was quite an accomplishment! This was on the corner of Union Street and Third Avenue. I don't know when the photo was taken. There is a wreath on the window that says SUCCESS. Virginia died in 1951.
