I don't know if there are any candy stores or ice cream parlors left in Brooklyn where you could get a "chocolate egg cream". So while down there, get some Fox's U-Bet chocolate syrup and seltzer water with a spritzer - milk, of course, is a staple anywhere. Mix the syrup and seltzer. Then add the milk slowly so that it floats to the top of the soda/syrup mixture.
