I remember the electric bumper car rides at Coney Island, where the riders would crash the cars into other cars. Also, there was a ride which would spin on an axle. While spinning, it created a huge centrifugal force, which made it impossible to move one's head forward. The axle that the ride was on shifted to a downward angle, while the device was spinning. It looked and felt as if that ride was going to crash into the ocean, while we were on it! Last, I never had an opportunity to attend the annual hot dog eating contest, which is held in Coney Island, every July 4th.
