I remember that day very well. I was a new student at Alexander Hamilton VTHS located at Albany Ave. and Bergen St. I was at my first period lunch @ 10:30 when the noise of a jet could be heard overhead or close by. We really didn't think much of it, we just kept on eating. Later, we heard of the crash and then realized that was the noise we heard at lunch. We were lucky it didn't hit the school. Back then at 14 year of age I didn't think much of the loss of life...RIP to the victims.
