I don't think so, Lottie, because I enjoy peace and quiet, especially at night. In Brooklyn, I remember cars racing around my street at night, with mufflers on their cars, which made a very loud grating noise. If we didn't have the race cars, we would have the fireworks going off every night, long before July 4th. Also, there was the constant problem of the auto alarms going off in the middle of the night, and waking up the entire neighborhood. In addition, at that time, there was the problem of dog droppings being all over the place. One had to literally walk with their eyes facing the ground, to watch where they were going. One time, my boss came into the office, in a very foul mood. I later found out that he had stepped in some dog droppings, on the way to work, and was furious. Last, I like being able to park my car in my neighborhood, without worrying in advance about finding a parking spot. In Brooklyn, there was never enough on the street parking; today, it is even worse.
