Across the Narrows from Brooklyn to my home on Staten Island. I live in the southern-most tip of New York State, City, and Staten Island. Down at the end of my street is Raritan Bay. As such, I'm only 10 minutes from New Jersey, whereas a trip to Brooklyn would be 45 mins to an hour, crossing on the Verrazzano Bridge, costing $17, less using EZPass. And "fuhgeddaboudit", travelling by public transit from my home to City Hall in Manhattan would be about 2-3/4 hours!!!
