My favorite chance meeting went like this. I was living in Illinois at a time. Had a business trip to Poughkeepsie (IBM). Staff took me to lunch at a Place called "Mom's Pizza". I was telling then that I used to live near a Moms pizza in Brooklyn (friend's of family).
Lo and behold, the SAME Mom emerges from kitchen and comes to our table. We were both astounded! Her husband and son (I played football with him) came to visit...
Not surprising, we got a free meal. My IBM friends were stunned into silence.
