I think many of us have a tale regarding finding someone from Brooklyn when we're so far from it. I posted this on FB because it was so nice. I went to our farmer's market in town and bought something from a local person. We talked a bit and I said I moved up here from Brooklyn. Oh, with a big smile, I use to live there too. I said I lived in Canarsie and she said loudly. OMG that's where I'm from and she came outside her table and hugged me....turned out she was just a few blocks from me....another small world story.
