I agree; in fact, on the westbound stretch of the Belt Parkway in that area, one can observe the large complex of the MTA subway repair yards, near Coney Island. Subway cars from all of the four boroughs which have subway service, are brought to that complex for servicing. It is too bad that complex is not open to the public, for tours, as it would be very interesting to see how the subway cars are repaired and maintained.
