Pensie Pinkie were definately cheaper than Spaldeen. They came in colors, the most dominant being green. Spaldeen was a much better ball. I remember 25 cents for Spaldeen and 15 cents for Pensie Pinkie. This would be in the early 60's. Clincher was the best softball.
