Hello Matty,
I am a little bit younger than you in the early 8os they reopened the pool hall above Leader Lanes but unfortunately the owner Jimmy Ciao was stabbed late one night in an attempted robbery they closed it shortly afterward. I fondly remember Mr. Lee he never wrote a dinner order down he memorized every course. I agree with you DeSica's had great pizza 15 cents a slice. I never ate at Vesuvius we were Italian the thought was why dine out for something you can get at home. Do you remember McGrath's bar a few doors down from Vesuvius? It later became Flynn's. As a teenager, I pumped gas at the Sunoco station across the street from the bowling alley.
