Matty I never knew about a bowling alley. I left Brooklyn in 1955 and the Leader Theater was still there. The pool room was upstairs next to the movies, it had about a dozen tables, great neighbor hood pool room. I remember across Coney Island Ave near the corner of Newkirk was Vesuvius Pizzaria, the best pizza I ever had, never had DeFaro but caní imagine it could be better than Vesuvius. I guess I need a visit to see all the changes.
