Steve. I knew of Harvey's power bat-tried to recruit him once or twice for east 17 street softball team-but I don't think he wanted to go too far from 217! He was in my brother's classes-we had a number of that younger crowd on the roster along with one or two St Rose of Lima guys.Believe Harvey and James (Jay Malarkey) were close friends who both became NYPD. BTW Jay was a terrific punchball player on e 17 but he never played softball! I remember that short *porch" in RF (LOL). Casa, the Leader, New Toyson, Vesuvius (aka Rocco's), all great memories of a terrific neighborhood!!
