First Election Memories

Earliest that I can recall was "I Like Ike" buttons. Next as a young teen, a neighborhood wiseacre kid made a joke of a local guy running for election for some office with this little ditty, "Dorn is but a thorn..." Last, a jam-packed JFK campaign stop/rally (?) at Kings Highway and Flatbush Av. I don't think this is "political" - just memories we have.
