There was some question as to whether the Dodgers desire to build their ball park at Atlantic and Flatbush was legal or whether it would be hard to use eminent domain to condemn the LIRR terminal which at the time was privately owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company. In recent years, however, in an attempt to rehabilitate the O'Malley name, much of the blame has come down on Robert Moses. Understand this, it was Walter O'Malley lock stock and barrel in the name of greed who stole the Dodgers from Brooklyn and he will continue to rot in hell for all eternity.
