Remember voting with your parents when you were little? Schools were closed so they could be used as voting places. My mom always took me when she voted. Our voting was done in a church basement, and sometimes we had to wait online outside the church for what seemed like forever. The booths scared me because you had to pull that lever that locked you in. My mom would lift me up and show me which levers to pull to vote, then she pulled the lever that counted the votes, let us out of the booth, and reset the booth. Living in northern New England, we use magic markers on paper ballots. Seems rather archaic!
