I get the chance to hate them here in Arizona when they come to play my now beloved Diamondbacks. My father quickly became a Mets fan since none of us could root for the Yankees. You could see their fans on TV wearing white shirts and ties and smoking cigarettes instead of cigars. I always thought they believed they were better than us in Brooklyn.
