The school that was on 18th Ave off Ocean Parkway was P.S. 134. I actually started there in kindergarten for a week before I transferred to 217. I was in the middle of both schools. At the end of my 3rd grade year about 1957, 134 became the Midwood Annex and everyone who went to 134 got transferred to nearby schools like 217.
