P.S. 49 elementary (was both a elementary and also a jr high for only boys.
I believe it is still there and totally a Junior High for many years.
JHS 196 Middle school and was only girls when I attended. I think it is now a elementary school.
Eastern District High School class of 1960. This school on Marcy Avenue is now a Yeshiva and Eastern got moved to Grand Street. Don't know exactly what it is today but I think it was divided into multiple schools at one time.
