Sorry Lottie, just noticed your reply and query now.
The package took about four days to get here from the time I got the notice that they were shipped. It was packed with dry ice or some gel substance like that but was melted by the time it got here (Delaware). Came by Fed Ex or UPS, I forget which, but you could follow the progress once it was out for shipment. It was supposed to arrive say on a Thursday but got here on a Friday. It's a 2-1/2 hour drive to Katz' for me from Delaware and I might have been better off doing that, even with the parking.
The pastrami was very chewy and rubbery. ($35 a pound). The rye bread and babka were not the freshest. Neither were baked in Katz's. They had packaging with brand names on them - I forget which brands. The knishes (4 - 2 round and 2 square) arrived a little waterlogged but once you microwaved them, they were decent - $6 a knish.
Don't know if you've ever seen or tried the Carnegie Deli Corned Beef or Pastrami they sell in supermarkets that is fully cooked and you just heat them up in a microwave. They should be ashamed to put their name on it, but they are awful and unedible garbage. Katz' aren't quite that bad but it's close.
