Larry, the 217 schoolyard was my home for many years (probably from around late '50s-mid-'60s) - stickball with fast pitching in the small schoolyard (now a new building there as an annex), punchball, softball, touch football, basketball, and the night and after-school centers inside.
Flinks was known to us as Carl and Bennys by the time I knew it, although the sign outside said Colonial Luncheonette.
