In 1983, we held a mini reunion of ex-Brooklyn residents living in the Columbus, Ohio area.

It was only a few weeks ago, that when I took my car in for servicing at the dealer, in Columbus, the guy who was the service advisor, was a retired New York City firefighter, who had been at Ground Zero on 9/11/01. I told him that he was the first NYFD firefighter, that I ever encountered in forty eight years of living in Columbus.
