Recreational Spots of the Past

Did anyone ever visit the glorious heated salt-water pool in the St George Hotel in downtown Brooklyn? It was decorated with green and gold tiles, had periodic waterfalls, a "bath house" area for the old guys covered with towels, and a second-story viewing section. Also, did anyone go to the Empire Roller Rink right near Prospect Park or the privately-operated Farragut Pool
