It sounds like a typical rude person from the New York area (Brooklyn). Here, in Columbus, Ohio, I've occasionally run into such individuals. One time, I went to a photo processing store to make a small purchase. The person working there had a typical New York accent, possibly from Brooklyn. As I was concluding the transaction for my purchase, I noticed that he didn't provide me with a small bag, in which to place what I bought. When I very nicely asked him for a bag, he started being obnoxious and abrasive, for even making that request. He reluctantly gave me a small bag, as if it was his right arm. I never had a native of Columbus, Ohio act that way to me, for such a minor request. To this day, I regret not telling that arrogant and nasty person what I thought of him. Since he was a short individual, he made up for his lack of height, with his big mouth.
