Dave, let me unequivocally state that I resent your hostile and sarcastic response. If you considered my posting "stupid", then you should not have responded. I thought that my inquiry was legitimate, as it conformed to the regulations of The Brooklyn Board, pertaining to past Brooklyn nostalgia; the July 4th hot dog eating contest, has been held in Coney Island for well over 47 years.

Somehow, I believe that you are still annoyed that you can't post your political diatribes on this site anymore, and you decided to retaliate with your scholarly remark.
