My dad took me to some Brooklyn Dodgers games and I rooted for them. When they left I became a Yankees fan and have been one ever since. Ebbets field was a very special ballpark. I remember the relief pitchers warming up between the foul lines and the stands. Even though I am a Yankees fan, I like to see the Mets win also. The most exciting year was 1969 when the Mets won it all. I was by city hall and remember Pearl Bailey cheering the fans on. That was a very special year!
