Riis Park. The ice cream vendors would walk on the sand in their yellow pith helmets and the yellow metal case on their shoulder. They would open it and the dry ice would start evaporating into white CO2 gas. I would normally buy vanilla with white coconut on the outside or chocolate chip pops. I was only a kid and would go to Riis park or Manhattan Beach. As I became a teenager it was Manhattan Beach and Brighton Bay 1.
