Not just in the 1940's but up to that infamous day when O'Malley not satisfied with making a mint in Brooklyn, opted for two mints in LA. He didn't take her with the team to what he thought would be greener pastures out west.

She was also the organist at MSG for the Rangers and Knicks games until the day she died, on a Sunday afternoon in 1963 when I was at a Rangers game with my friends and somebody just took her place. There are several tapes of Brooklyn games from the 50's on you tube and you can hear her playing and singing the national anthem before the game as well as playing the Dodgers theme song, "Follow the Dodgers as the Dodgers took the field.
