I loved the chocolate cream pie; however, this was a seasonal item since the whipped cream topping could turn by the time you got home and refrigerated it. Their blackout cake was another favorite of mine. It had little crumblies of chocolate on top of the outer icing covering. Then there was the ring cake with its nuts and icing on top. Our local Ebinger store was on the north side of Church Avenue just east of East 18th Street. How sweet it was!
