Old homes, in Brooklyn, which sold for under $80,000 less than forty years ago, are today valued at nearly $2,000,000. The rooms are not really that spacious, the plumbing is old, the parking, if there is any is not the greatest, either. Yet, real estate has taken off in Brooklyn, because of its close proximity to Manhattan. Has anybody ever noticed that one never sees a "For Sale" sign on a lawn in Brooklyn, as is the case out of town? I've always wondered why?
