Sad to say: I agree with both you and Marie. Passings and health issues are probably contributing to the low activity on the board, but social media are the major factors. The internet was a vibrant platform at one time that is now fading. I rarely get messages on my e-mail, except, of course, for ads, and postings here get little or no response. Too bad! I try to think of relevant topics, but sometimes, like recently, I'm just snowed under an avalanche of paperwork and become preoccupied - and I haven't even started on my taxes! Whatever happened to the "Save the trees" campaign? Are others also experiencing the paper deluge and countless time on the phone listening not to pleasant music, but to rote directions, interruptions, and ads?

Health-care and other insurers' communiques are the worst offenders?
