I grew up on Arlington Ave. across from PS 108 until we moved out in 1976. I have very fond memories of PS 108 and remember one teacher in particular. I never forgot Mrs. Goldberg. I think she was with 1st or 2nd grade. After all these years she left such an impact on me. Does anyone know of a way (through the Dept. of Education I'm guessing) to find out if there is any method of forwarding a letter to a retired teacher? So glad to have found this site. Only now am I seriously looking into the history of East New York and just last week I drove by the old school and apartment. Thanks.
