The name of the Tappan Zee Bridge was changed by Mario Cuomo to The Malcolm Wilson Bridge quite a few years ago. He was repaying a political favor; no public forum was ever created. No one ever called it the Malcolm Wilson Bridge, even though there was a huge sign by the roadway with the new name, which ironically was misspelled (no second "L" in Malcolm).
Then, the POS who is our current gov changed the name again, this time naming it after his father (in other words, the hell with Malcolm Wilson). He had to attach the name change to a clandestine bill session having nothing to do with the bridge in order for it to pass. After millions of dollars were spent creating new signs that read Mario Cuomo Bridge, he realized that his dad's middle initial "M" had not been included. No problem, they just removed the signs and spent millions more.
