Public School that we attended

When I was living on 2516 Bedford Avenue, I attended P.S. 89 on Newkirk Avenue. From 1st grade until I graduated in June 1962 I would walk to school and back home every day. In kindergarten a yellow van would pick children up and take us home after school. I still remember teachers names. Anyone else attend P.S. 89 and if not where did you attend public school? Let's get some responses please. No activity for some time!
