I must have been around 17 when I went with a friend to downtown Brooklyn where the Daily News had their printing presses for the comic section. It was around 10 PM on a week day in 1965. We were hired for the 11pm to 7am shift to take the comics when they came off presses and to pile them up. When taking a break we looked at the comics and found out that they were dated weeks in the future. That would have been a neat trick if they could do that with the news! When I came home, I was covered in ink. When I blew my nose it was in technicolor! Had a good time and made some spending money.
