Nate, I lived in Brooklyn for 4O years and graduated James Madison High School in June 1966. I've lived in West Boca Raton for 31 years. Actually the biggest problem with the drivers here is that you have a mix of very young and some very old drivers here. Like trying to mix water and oil. Most of the older drivers insist on driving in the left name below the speed limit and do not yield the right of way. The right lane usually moves faster than the left. They will cut across traffic to make a left turn at the last second. The very young drivers have no experience and make a lot of bad decisions like tailgating at 60 MPH in the pouring rain. The roads here are much better than NYC and the roads and lanes are much wider. As for no one letting you in to change lanes, you should attempt to change lanes earlier than you do. Truck drivers are very aggressive. I much prefer the driving here than in New York City. Public Transportation here is minimal.
