I graduated Madison in 1966 and even though I was just an average student, many were not. Nobel prize winners, famous scientists, TV and movie personalities like Judge Judy, Martin Landau, Chris Rock, who didn't graduate, Andrew Dice Clay and Sonny Fox (Wonderama Children's show). Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Three U.S. Senators that at one time were in the Senate at the same time. Bernie Sanders, Charles Schumer, and Norm Coleman from Minnesota and my graduating class of '66. He eventually lost reelection to Al Frankel. Singer song writer Carole King (Klein). The students in those days were 90% Jewish and 10% Italian and mostly middle class. Since then, the neighborhood has changed few famous alumni have graduated. There were more back then, but this post is too long already.
