I, too, have been a member for over twenty years and have seen the decline in posts and responses - whether it's through the interpretation of the "Guidelines", gentrification, diverse attrition, or constant changing and "updating" of our computers that cause many oldsters to give up. I long for the days of the uproar over the O'Malley-Dodger move from Brooklyn to LA and whether or not Pigtown was in or near Ebbitts Field or Brownsville or wherever. There were many disputes which added to the vitality of the Board; it was more provocative and, yes, politically incorrect, and I loved it.

By the way, Dave, but for the "Guidelines", I'd be game to go toe-to-toe with you on your comments, statements, or words which you feel are not political but which I happen to feel have a political lens to them.
