1940 Tax Photos

In 1940 and again in 1982, NYC took photos of almost every building - commercial and residential - in the five boroughs for tax purposes. The 1982 photos were already online but not very good quality. The 1940 ones were just published last November and are much better quality, although B&W.
Its really a lot of fun finding old addresses and hangouts. I can't post a link here, but if you search for NYC Municipal Archives - Luna Imaging you should be able to find it. If you need help locating something you can email me.
