This question was just posted on the Bronxboard. I was born and raised in the Bronx
but I lived in Brooklyn for 40 years.

The responses are identical.....the Brooklyn and Bronx posts say pretty much the same thing.
I lived in a building where I had many friends....family lived around the corner and across the
street.....everyone looked out for each other....we had access to everything, from the Zoo
(Bx Zoo Prospect Park Zoo) libraries, trains and busses, nearby schools, schoolyards, etc.

Other then the Dodgers vs the Yankees, we had more in common then any other group I can
think of. I lived in Canarsie and only moved away less then two years ago.
