We went by subway from Brooklyn to the west side and the Hudson for a trip up past Indian Point.We had a scotch cooler with all the usual pic nic stuff.

For years there were arguments about building an atomic power plant - the power people won. It is hard to believe that the useful life of the giant plants is about over. Also, I remember the Tappan Zee (Hamilton Fish aka Mario Cuomo) bridge being built and it is already replaced. Yet the Brooklyn Bridge built in 1883 continues on.
