Hardly see anyone from Prospect Heights posting on the Board. I have a lot of fond memories of growing up there. Things like the National Theater(2 movies plus a serial plus cartoons -- all for 25 cents), great schoolyard basketball games at PS 9, ST Teresa and the playground at Underhill and Prospect. We'd play 8 baskets, winners out and you had to win by two.
The Library was great. I remember my mom reading Horton hatches the Egg to me in the childrens room
Sleighriding in Prospect Park (Monument Hill) etc
So the question is: Did anyone else (besides me) live there?
How about sharing some memories?
