Nate I Believe Bakery You are referring to Was Rutters/Ledermans-great corn bread and jelly donuts-other major bakery on Newkirk off the Plaza was OF course Ebingers. The 2 bars on the PLAZA were LaSalle's, And Moriaritys (Mo's)-Leprachan (SP) was off the PLAZA on Foster. I grew up on E.17 between Newkirk and Foster And other stores we frequented on the Plaza were Semon's Hardware, Plaza Deli, Dr.Woltag (optomotrist-for notes for 217), Grillo's Restaurant, the Appliance store with the tv in the window which also sold the popular 45s of the day-right across from the BMT Subway Station, as well as a small 5 and 10 near Foster on the Plaza where we used to get our 217 school supplies +Liptons Pharmacy!
