The House of David was a barnstorming team that traveled the country and operated during the 1930's and after WW2 until the mid 50's. At one point they had 3 teams barnstorming. In 2000 The Sporting News / Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) award for the top research project went to a book on the team(s) and it available thru Arcadia Publishers. Lot of photos and a good list of the players is in it. Hope this helps.
