Recently saw some pictures of Newkirk Plaza in the 50s and 60s when I was a kid. Pictures of Rand Cleaners, Waldels, the Pizza Place, Mr. Eric, the Patio Restaurant, the 5 and dime, Grillos, and the Blue Moon Luncheonette. I grew up on 625 Marlborough Road overlooking the plaza right above the beauty parlor, the eye doctor, the hat store, the foto finish, and the Holiday House. Great memories
