I agree, Marie; the Board of Education spent over $165,000 on those dog tags. It was a total waste of money; if there had been a nuclear attack, the dog tags would have been vaporized. I don't know who convinced the Board of Education to produce those dog tags. I don't think that I wore mine, more than a few times. Also, it was very unpleasant to duck under those decks. As I previously stated, it would have made more sense to have taken cover in the hallways, away from the glass.
