Tony, thanks for the info! The name did not ring a bell. I probably never paid it any attention; more importantly to me at the time was the fact it sold delicious ices. My memory is that it seemed more subdued than a luncheonette but was not a real fancy type of restaurant either. It must have had a sign in the window that said "ices," that drew us kids inside for the take-out ices treat. My visits there were from mid-1957 to mid-1959.
