I long for the Summer of 1951,where it was spent at a day camp at Brighton Beach. My cousins and brother also went, as we were picked up by a school bus every morning on Avenue H and Westminster Rd. We had some very nice counselors, in that day camp.

I also long for the Summer of 1955, when I took my bike on Ocean Parkway to Shore Rd., and went to the home of my beloved cousins, Maxie and Miriam Auerbach. Therefore, Maxie told me accounts of his service in the European theater of operations, during World War Two.

I also long for the winter of`962 and the Summer of 1963, when I learned to drive in Brooklyn, and passed my road test (it was in Coney Island), on the first attempt.
