Found it. Thanks. Late one night in The Leprechaun my friend, Steve, leaves to go home just down the block. A few minutes later he comes back and says his wife locked him out and he wants me to boost him up to the fire escape so he can get in the window. Foolishly, I agreed. I boosted him up and he cannot get the window open. His wife had locked it too. So he takes his shoe off and starts breaking out the window which makes a huge amount of noise late at night and I have to jump back by the parked cars to avoid the glass. Then the lights start coming on with irate tenants yelling and asking what is happening. I have to tell them that it is not a break in and that Steve was just getting into his apartment. They were calling me names and threatening me and when one said he was calling the cops I eased back down the block and into the side door of The Leprechaun like nothing had happened. Steve did not want to talk about it when I next saw him.
