IN 1965 I OWNED THE POOLROOM ON ST JOHNS PL. NEAR UTICA AVE. WHEN THE BLACKOUT OCCURRED SEVERAL OF THE YOUNG BLACK KIDS CAME AND ASKED ME IF I NEEDED ANYTHING...... THEY WERE GOING LOOTING ON BROADWAY IN BROOKLYN. IN THE 15 YEARS THAT I OWNED THAT PLACE I WAS BURGLARIZED 40 TIMES. MY BIGGEST LOSS WAS ALWAYS REPAIRING THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED GAINING ENTRY
